Probably very few people have heard that wood can be not only in its usual (solid) state, but also in a liquid. It is also called bioplastic or arboform. The components of bioplastic: sawdust, polymer resins and lignin. Additional components, added by every manufacturer at their discretion: flax fiber, sisal, straw, hemp. Then it is heated with constant stirring and used to prepare profiles of different shapes. In appearance Arboform reminds of wood and plastic, combining the best qualities of both. Formed from liquid wood sheets can replace particleboard and fiberboard in the future. When drying, bioplastic becomes a reliable and durable material that can withstand all kinds of mechanical and chemical influences. Adding different modifiers protect the wood from rot and dampness, UV and fire. The surface of this material is smooth and very even, which protects the hands from splinters. The use of this material depends entirely on the imagination – the construction of houses and baths, furniture, as a decor, both interior and exterior, the production of window profiles and door manufacturing. The list could be endlessly long.
