Much of the country is occupied by the Alps, so the skiing here is very well developed, as in neighboring Switzerland. In total, the country has about 1000 ski resorts, equipped with cable cars and offering a high level of service.

Popular slopes in the Tyrol, where the prestigious and famous resorts of Lech, St. Anton and Mayrhofen are located. There are restaurants, swimming pools, various skating rinks and rentals, you can also try paragliding and take a look at the panorama from height.

Very popular in Austria, recreation on the lakes, which are very clean and picturesque. The largest and most famous are Lake Constance and Neusiedler See, which are both nature reserves. There are real beaches and all possibilities for sailing and windsurfing.

In the country you can buy excellent pumpkin seed oil, which was born in Austria, as well as very tasty Mozart liquor. A special highlight are Swarovski products: jewelry, watches with inlays, crystal figurines and other crystal products. Here in Austria, in the town of Wattens, is the famous Swarovski Museum, which is a special visit of the country. The largest crystal in the world, which is included in the Guinness Book of Records, so souvenirs from Swarovski enjoy great fame.
