Drywall ceilings and a variety of partitions from this material are very popular in modern construction. Such love of builders and designers came to gypsum board because it is easy to install, long service life, and it is possible to construct almost any fantasy ceilings, walls, decorations. But it is still more common to use gypsum board for installation of the ceiling.
Even if the ceiling is planned shaped, multilevel, all the same, first you need to create a flat base from drywall. And then on it already place shaped decorations according to the designer’s idea. In addition, with such installation, the ceiling becomes stronger and lasts longer.
Before installing the ceiling make a marking with a level (determine the location of the starting profile). Then on these marks, along the perimeter of the room, we fix the profiles with the help of dowels.
After that, mark the places of attachment “butterfly” for the profiles. Through these butterflies pull the profile and fasten. Here it is important to make sure that all profiles are set at the same level. For this purpose it is necessary to stretch the threads under the ceiling at the same height. Then the stitching of drywall sheets on the profiles begins. It is performed, most often, in staggered order.
